Super Eagles forward, Ademola Lookman has expressed excitement about the upcoming clash against Ghana, in Morocco this Friday.

The Super Eagles are regrouping for the first time since the conclusion of the Africa Cup of Nations tournament where Nigeria won the silver medal.

Lookman said the team remains in high spirits and the players are eager to showcase their capabilities in the upcoming friendlies.

“It’s an opportunity for us to once again show the level we are as a team, talking about our performance at the AFCON and the level that is expected of us. We are definitely looking forward to the game,” Lookman remarked after the team’s practice session in Marrakech on Wednesday.

Highlighting the importance of raising the team’s performance, Lookman emphasized their readiness to meet the expectations set for them.

“We still have the same players, still happy together and obviously there are some new faces in the squad. We are really happy to be back in the squad,” Lookman added.
