Golden Eaglets forward Rapha Adams has expressed the team’s determination to secure a win against Togo in their final group match of the 2024 WAFU B U17 Championship on Wednesday.

With four points from their first two games, the Manu Garba-led squad needs just a draw to advance to the next round.

Adams, who scored the decisive goal in their recent victory over Niger’s Junior Mena, emphasized their focus on earning all three points in the upcoming clash.

“We are committed to working very hard to beat Togo,” Adams stated, highlighting the team’s resolve to finish the group stage on a high note.

“We will defend, attack and score by the grace of God. We have been working hard in training and we will work harder on match day.

“Our coaches have been teaching us a lot and if we can interpret everything we have been taught very well against Togo, we will come out victorious.”
