President of the Nigeria Cricket Federation Professor Yahaya Ukwenya has stated that the signing and subsequent unveiling of Sri Lankan coach Asanka Gurusinha is a worthy investment for Cricket in Nigeria considering his wealth of experience as a former world cup winner and coach who has seen it all in Cricket.
Ukwenya speaking in a chat with brila.net said the choice of the Sri Lankan coach was borne out of the desire to go beyond just passing interest in the game of Cricket in Nigeria hence the decision of the Nigeria Cricket Federation to employ an expatriate coach with a proven track record in Cricket.
