Cameroon goalkeeper André Onana has labelled former Coach Hugo Broos a liar and divisive in an interview surfacing after a FECAFOOT document recommending the sack of the Belgian was leaked on Tuesday.
Onana and other several important players were exempted from the Cameroon squad that won the Afcon earlier this year, but the 21-year-old has fingered Broos as the mastermind of national embarrassment.
In a chat with FOX Sports Africa the AFC Ajax first choice goalie accused the former Indomitable Lions Boss of spreading lies in the media about his and other players’ commitment to the national team.

In the wake of the storm over several players turning down call-ups for the 2017 AFCON, Onana insists he couldn’t cope with the Coach’s incessant back stabbing.
‘I don’t really want to call him a liar, but when you talk to him he tells you there’s no chance you’ll be on his team but then he turns to the media and tell them you don’t want to play for your Country and the people are mad at you.
‘This is not just me but it affected about 11 or 12 players. He’s a good trainer but this attitude has made players lose faith.
‘It is strange but nobody understands why he does these things. We have to be honest, If I don’t want to play I’ll say so. But he shouldn’t lie about me or Matip. He’s pitching the Country against us.’
