Nigerian striker Odion Ighalo says he is delighted with his successful season with champions Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia.
The Nigerian international netted a brace as Ramon Diaz’s side defeat Al Faisaly to win the Championship on Monday.
The former Manchester United striker found the back of the net in the 7th and 64th minutes respectively.
The win sealed the 18th league title win for the home side who were closely followed by Al-Ittihad.
Ighalo also clinched the top scorer award with 24 combined goals from 28 games both Al Shabab and Al Hilal.
The former Udinese man finished the campaign with 27 goals with other goals in the Asia Champions League and World Club Cup.
“League Champions and top scorer 21/22 season. All glory to God” The 33-year-old wrote on Twitter.
Ighalo signed for Al Hilal back in January 2022, after falling out with the management of Al-Shabab.
