Iheanacho features in Leicester City’s win over Hull City

Kelechi Iheanacho was involved in Leicester City’s pre-season match against Championship side Hill City on Wednesday.

The Nigerian attacker was not named among the starters as Coach Brendan Rodgers opted to start the veteran Jamie’s Vardy along with Zambia forward Patson Daka.

Patson Daka opened the scoring with a fine goal before the half hour mark at the MKM Stadium.

Boubakary Soumare powered forward with the ball and set up Harvey Barnes who curled the second into the far corner of the goal.

Six minutes into the second half and it was 3-0, game over. Marc Albrighton and Jamie Vardy combined to set up Wesley Fofona for his goal.

James Maddison completed the rout for the Foxes in the 84th minute.

Kelechi Iheanacho was introduced in the second half, while his compatriot Wilfred Ndidi was was missing due to injury.

The side will again tackle Preston North End and Derby County next.
