Former Super Eagles star Femi Opabunmi has expressed his confidence in the abilities of the current National team players ahead of the FIFA World Cup holding in Russia next Month.
Opabunmi, the youngest player to the 2002 FIFA world cup in Korea/Japan has charged players of the national team to exhibit determination and focus as they continue preparations for the FIFA Mundial.
“I am really excited about the chances of the Super Eagles,” Opabunmi told brila.net
“The lads have shown a lot of enthusiasm and hunger,”
“I believe that the enthusiasm of the team been young side will allow them to dream big but I want the team to show the raw determination to achieve whatever they may have out their mind on to achieve at the world cup.
Femi, who was the youngest player at the 2002 Korea/Japan World Cup with a lot of prospects had his career halted four year later due to an eye problem
