Nigerian forward, Isaac Success played a pivotal role in Udinese’ draw against Napoli in Monday’s Italian Serie A clash, scoring the equalizer for his team.

Success, who came on as a substitute, netted Udinese’s only goal in the 92nd minute to force Napoli to a 1-1 draw at Bluenergy Stadium

The goal ended his twelve-month goal drought, But the Forward believes the team’s performance is important than his goal.

“The point is more important than the goal,” Success stated in an interview with the club’s official website. “It brings us closer to our goal. The draw against a great team like Napoli gives us morale.”

With Udinese currently occupying the 18th position in the league standings with 30 points from 35 matches, every point is crucial in their battle against relegation.

Despite the challenging circumstances, Success praised the unity within the team, likening it to a family.

“It’s a united team,” Success remarked. “We’re like a family, and I’ve always been encouraged. In just a few minutes today, I was able to help, and I hope to continue doing so. We all work for each other.”
