Iwobi showcased his skills during his 64-minute stint in his 19th league appearance, while Bassey displayed endurance by completing the full 90 minutes in his 18th league game.

The scoring spree began with Harry Wilson in the 21st minute, who later assisted Rodrigo Muniz to double the lead.

Adama Traore sealed the deal with a late goal, leaving Brighton in a disappointing ninth place after the match.
