Iwobi goal earns Arsenal rare away win over Huddersfield

Super Eagles forward Alex Iwobi find the back of net for Arsenal as they overcome strugglers Huddersfield 2-1 in a Premier League game at the John Smith’s stadium on Saturday.

 

The Unai Emery side are looking to bounce back to a winning after suffering 3-1 defeat at the home of the Champions Manchester City last Sunday.

 

Arsenal was handed a great start , as they took the lead after just 16 minutes of play through Alex Iwobi who volley home Saed Kolasinc’s cross from left hand side.

 

 

The Gunner doubled their lead some minutes later after another great move from the left side of the midfield left Huddersfield’s defence in shambles to allow Alexander Lacazette scored from Henrik Mkhitaryan’s low cross.

 

Huddersfield got a consolation goal after  A lovely  pass into the Gunners box found Diakhaby whose shot bounced up off Leno and only Kolasinac for to put it into his own as a result pressure from Bacuna, decided to stab it

 

 

Iwobi was replaced by Joe Willock in 88th minute and the Gunners held on for held on to win its first away game in seven matches.
