The Nigerian played the entire duration of the game, completed 70% of his passes and had a short on target.
Former Burnley defender James Tarkowski got the winner for the Toffees from a corner kick in the second half.
It was Everton’s first win since 22nd October 2022, they beat Crystal Palace, 105 days to that date.
Also, Everton also keeps their perfect record against Arsenal at Goodison Park since Mikel Arteta became the Manager.
They faced Arteta’s Arsenal three times at Goodison Park and won all three.
