Juju Loving Nigeria will be easy to defeat – Libya Head Coach Amrouche

Libya are on their way to making only a fourth appearance in the 32nd edition of the African Cup of Nations following a goalless result against South Africa in Durban, and it was the perfect occasion for the Tuareg Head Coach to take a swipe at Nigerian football.

Libya are top of Group E with four points from two games; just a point more than third place Nigeria, but their Algerian Head Coach, Adel Amrouche doesn’t consider ‘the juju believing’ West African country good enough.

Speaking during a presser; that’s gone viral on social media, Amrouche said he has experience playing against Nigeria, and reckons it is easier playing against the Three times African champions than South Africa’s Bafana Bafana.

“Believe I prefer play Nigeria than Bafana Bafana, because I have this experince to play against Nigeria and for me Bafana they have fantastic players.

“It is not easy to play Bafana Bafana, for me Nigeria; I’m ready for Nigeria. At home, if they want we play two times in Nigeria we play two times in Nigeria.

“I know You believe on juju ; too much and we believe on God in the work. For the future we can plan, but it is not easy to play South Africa,” Amrouche continued.

In continuation of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, next month – 10 October – the Super Eagles will host Libya for the first leg of their a double header.
