Kazeem Ogunleye’s 96th minute goal earn Plateau United vital win over Enyimba

Plateau United beat Enyimba 2-1 in the NpFL Super Sunday clash in Jos to secure their first win of the season.

The Peace Boys came into the game after picking a point from opening two games, while Enyimba picked four from same number of matches.

Plateau United conceeded first for the third time this season, when Chibuike Nwaiwu put Enyimba in front after 25 minutes of action.

Goalkeeper Ojo Olorunleke later made a great save to deny Plateau United a goal from Daniel Itodo’s trademark long throwing.

The Fidelis Ilechukwu’s side won’t be denied for long as Ifeanyi Emmanuel grabbed the equalizer in the 36th minute.

The second half was closely contested with both sides canceling each other out for much longer.

With the game heading to a draw, Kazeem Ogunleye had other ideas as he netted the winner for Plateau United with the last kick of the game.
