With his side, Club Primeira de Agusto bagging a resounding 3-0 win against CS Libolo in the Angolan top flight, the team’s Nigerian import, Kenny Yisa Anifowshe has revealed that the target is to maintain top spot in the league and remain focused on the task of clinching a CAF Champions League spot.
Speaking with brila.net, Kenny stated that his side would play the remaining fixtures of the league season with caution but sure they would be crowned champions.
“We are top of the league now and hopefully we would win the league. We are focused on the next champions league (CAF) because we didn’t do well in the last one.
This made the management and fans not to be happy with us because they expected more. So we are fighting the battle not just to win the trophy and get a qualification but with the hopes to give a good representation.”
Club Primeira De Agusto currently top the Angolan league and have opened a 10-point gap.
