Goalkeeper Richard Ofori believes the Black Stars are very much in the race to reach the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The goalkeeper insists they can beat the Super Eagles in front of their crowd when both side clash for the final leg of the World Cup playoff.
The West African giants played 0-0 in the first leg at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi last Friday to set up interesting second leg tie in Abuja.
The Nigerian international Ghanaians needs to be victory or score draw against Nigeria on Tuesday to seal the qualifications.
“It was an interesting clash here in Ghana. The lads played well and it was an improvement from what happened in Cameroon. We could have won the game, but in Nigeria we will go for the result. I believe we can do it anywhere” He said.
Ghana’s Black Stars will arrive Nigeria on Monday and the team will train at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja — the venue of the encounter.
