Former Nigerian striker Raphael Chukwu-Ndukwe has called on the Nigerian duo of Victor Osihmen and Samuel Chukwueze to be proud and focused despite losing out of the Young player award to Achraf Hakimi.
Chukwu-Ndukwe speaking in a chat with brila.net said the duo should be encouraged making the top three stage of the award and continue to work hard and good enough to make the award category again next year and probably put in more to win it.
“For them been in the top three has already put them in that map, they just need to work more hard and make sure next year they win it.
“They’ve had very good season with their clubs so I don’t think they should put their face down rather they should put their face up for been among the three best young players in Africa. It’s not easy where we have how many millions of people in Africa.”
