Former Nigerian goalkeeper Peter Rufai has predicted a win for the Super Eagles in Saturday’s Afcon qualifier against South Africa.
In a chat with brila.net, Rufai expressed hope that the positive atmosphere in the team will impact the performance of Gernot Rohr’s team.
He said, ‘I believe the peace and cohesion between the Football players and the Nigeria Football Federation will come useful to achieve this result compared to the last time when a number of internal issues rocked the team and ended our hopes of featuring at the 2015 AFCON.’
Group E heavyweights, Nigeria and South Africa clash in Uyo on June 10 at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium.
