Ladan Bosso sends 15 Players home from Flying Eagles camp

Head coach of the National U20 Men’s team, Ladan Bosso has sent 15 players packing from the team’s camp, according to reports.

Bosso to release the players following unresolved passport issues, injuries and other unknown reasons.

The decision brings the number of players in the camp to 25, and it unclear if the coach will call up replacements for the players.

Nigeria’s U20 team are currently camping in Abuja, ahead of the Africa U20 Cup of Nations billed for Egypt next year.

In the three practice games played so far, the Flying Eagles won all and scored 17 goals in the process.

Bosso is expected to name the final squad for the tournament in January 2023.

Next year’s Africa U20 Cup of Nations will hold between 18th February to 12th March, and it’ll serve at the qualifiers for the FIFA U20 World Cup.

The four semi-finalists will pick automatic tickets to represent Africa at the World tournament.
