Enyimba FC goalkeeper Theophilus Afelokhai has stated that the newly published Nigeria Professional Football League table by the League Management Company of Nigeria is good news to players of the Aba based topflight team following the abrupt end to the 2019/2020 NPFL season due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Afelokhai speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said the newly circulated Point per game NPFL table which placed Enyimba second on the league table is a delight to Enyimba players who have always desired playing continental football especially the lucrative CAF champions league where they have always proven to be Nigeria’s best representative.
“It’s very good news to we Enyimba players because most of us there are there because of Champions league and playing continental football and thank God it happened that they named us as the second team on the table to represent Nigeria. It’s a piece of very good news to us.”
