Lobi stars defensive midfielder Kelly Kester is remaining modest despite his side’s 2 – 0 win over Enugu Rangers in a repeat fixture of the NPFL Super six which they lost then only to emerge victorious yesterday in one of the Federation cup round of 32 games.
Kelly speaking in a chat with www.brila.net downplayed his side’s pedigree as a potential cup winner and elected to state clearly that the cup is opened for all qualified teams to win.
He acknowledged some upsets recorded in the round of 32 games as indicators on why his team have to take each game as it comes.
“We had to do the needful to maybe get back to Rangers who had beaten us a week earlier and allowed the result get to them by way of pride.
Other teams that qualified If they are not good wouldn’t have qualify. I think every teams left have a fighters chance for who the battle of whoever will win the cup competition. “
