Lookman is ready to give his best to the Super Eagles — Amuneke

The Chief Coach of Super Eagles Emmanuel Amuneke said the addition of Ademola Lookman will improve the team.

Lookman switched allegiance to Nigeria from England this month and he’s now eligible to take part in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers playoff in March against Ghana.

Speaking on what the striker will bring to the team, Amuneke who met the player in London said:

“He is a great addition to the team,  a player that is ready to give his best anytime he is called upon. Playing regularly for Leicester city shows he has come of age and ready for the big ocassion.

That explains why we needed him in our fold. I am happy he has agreed to join”  he was quoted as saying by CKD media.

Lookman, 23, was born in England to Nigerian parents and he represented his Country of birth from the U17 to U21 level.

He has played for the likes of Charlton Athletic, Everton, Fulham, and Leicester City where he’s currently on loan from RB Leipzig.
