Coach Abdullahi Maikaba is satisfied with the effort of his players against Abia Warriors and want them to build on it.
Maikaba was on the bench as Rangers came from behind to beat Abia Warriors in a dramatic fashion at the FC Ifeanyi Ubah Stadium on Sunday.
The 2016 Nigeria Professional Football League Champions fell behind two minutes into the second half when Valentine Odoh scored from close range.
However, two goals in five minutes from Christian Nnaji (66 minute) and Chidebere Nwobodo ( 71 minute) secured the tour around victory for Rangers.
The victory moved Rangers to fourth position on the log and five points behind leaders Rivers United.
Coach Abdul Maikaba said after the fixture, that the players gave everything and happy to see them moving up in league table.
“We are happy with the result as we played against a very good side in the most difficult pitch to play football. “

Rangers will be hoping to continue their impressive form when they host Nasarawa United on Wednesday.
