MFM Football Club of Lagos failed to consolidate on their matchday one victory of Heartland of Owerri, as they were held to a draw 1-1 at home to FC Ifeanyi Ubah in matchday two.
The Olukoya boys welcomed the Anambra Warriors to the Soccer Temple in Agege on Sunday for their first home game of the newly 2019/2020 Nigeria Professional Football league season.
The visitors however to a shock lead in the sixth minutes of the game, through Christian Nnaji.
Tony Bolus led MFM took over the game and as they pressed for an equalizer quickly.
Adeniji Kabir, however, got the equalizer eight minutes before the half time break.
Both sides, however, failed to grab the winner in the second half and had to settle for a point each.
