Middlesbrough boss, Neil Warnock delighted with Akpom signing

Middlesbrough boss Neil Warnock is delighted with the signing of Chuba Akpom and he’s expecting the former Arsenal striker to be a success at the club.

 

Akpom returned to England after two and a half years stint with Greek side PAOK Salonica and he became the third signing of the summer for Neil Warnock who had earlier completed the signing of  Sam Morsy, Marcus Bettinelli, and Grant Hall.

 

Neil Warnock told the club’s website that he’s delighted the club finally land the 24-year-old striker and confirmed he has been his preferred choice in the market.

 

“I’m delighted to finally have got him,” Warnock told the club’s website the boss.

 

“He’s been my number one choice. I’ve wanted him for a long time. I’d like to give a big thanks to Neil Bausor for getting it done.

 

“I told him what we were doing at the club, and right from day one, he wanted to come, and I’m delighted.”

 

Akpom signed a three-year contract with the club, he was at the Riverside to watch his new team-mates played a 1-1 draw against Bournemouth.
