Super Eagles midfielder Mikel Agu is determined to impress and continue his progress in the coming 2020/2021 Portuguese Premiera Liga season.
Mikel recovered from injuries to help Vitoria Guimarães to a 6th place finish last season and he’s determined to help his team go one step further in the coming campaign starting from home game against Belenenses this Friday.
“The new season starts this weekend and we have a home game against Belenenses this Friday. Hopefully, we can pick up the maximum points and begin a long marathon journey.
“Personally, the goal is to always do better than my last game, so I want to take every game as it comes and constantly improves on it and keep helping the team in every way I can because we are very much determined to do better than the last campaign,” Agu concluded.
Mikel last featured for the Super Eagles in 2018, however, he will be hoping to force his way back Gernot Rohr’s plan when the season finally kick-off.
