Moffi’s goal drought continues as Lorient slip into relegation zone

Super Eagles striker Terem Moffi continued his poor run of form in front of goal for FC Lorient in the league.

The striker-fired blank as Lorient fell to a 4-1 defeat at Metz in Sunday’s French Ligue One game.

The 22-year-old played the entire duration of the game and it was his 18th appearance of the season for the Club.

Failure to score against Metz means he has now extended his barren run to 12 games. Moffi last net a goal for the relegation strugglers since scoring the winner against champions Lille on September 21.

The forward has scored twice in 17 league appearances for his club this season.

Lorient slipped to 19th in the league with 15 points from 18 Matches. They have recorded three wins, seven draws, and seven losses so far this season.
