Ndidi, Iheanacho Combo wrecks Preston

Nigerian duo, Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi were at their best as Leicester City hammered Preston North End 3-0 to maintain their impressive start in the Championship.

Ndidi started for the Foxes and played for 81 minute before being substituted.

The midfielder set up Kelechi Iheanacho – who was a second half substitute for Jamie Vardy – for Leicester City’s second goal of the night.

It was Iheanacho’s third goal of the league campaign of the season and his first this season at the King Power Stadium.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall scored a second half brace to complete a perfect night for the Enzo Maresca’s side.

Following the victory, Leicester City have now matched the best start ever made to a Championship campaign – by Sheffield United in 2005/06.

Leicester are now two points clear of Ipswich Town in second second place and seven points ahead Preston in third place.
