Former Nigeria international and member of the Nigeria Football Federation Technical and development committee Garba Lawal has inferred that the Technical Committee is not an inclusive committee in the scheme of operation.
Lawal speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said the committee functions without members not actually aware of things with regards to deliberation or decision making.
The former winger said members actually read committee decisions on social media like every other Nigerians. He claimed knowledge of the current mandate with regards to the appointment of coaches for various national teams and technical director having seen the mandate on social media but hasn’t been reached as regards making any input.
“For long there is no meeting as my colleagues told you, there is no meeting for long so what are you going to tell the media about the Technical committee because you don’t know anything, you know it’s really difficult to say. We are not one of the board members so we don’t know what is going on. A lot of times we read things on social media and papers. Some times when I read something about the Technical committee I laugh because I have no idea.”
