Nigeria, 13 others set for the 2021 ITTF West African Challenge

Nigeria has been confirmed as the host of the 2021 edition ITTF Africa Western Region Challenge.

Fourteen countries are expected to participate in the challenge, including Ghana, Cote d’Ivoire, Benin Republic, Senegal, Togo, Gambia, Liberia, Gambia, Mali, Burkina Faso, Guinea Bissau, Niger Republic, and Sierra Leone.

The ITTF Africa Western Region Challenge is scheduled to hold from November 1st – 4th in Lagos and some of the participants already arrived in Nigeria.

Matches will be played at the Chief Molade Okoya Thomas indoor hall of Teslim Balogun Stadium.

The chairman of the Local Organizing committee, Waheed Enitan said, Nigeria is ready for tournament:

“Lagos is ready to welcome top players from the region and we are hopeful that we can stage the tournament with all the covid-19 protocol in place for teams and players.
