Nigerian referee Ferdinand Udoh has described the injury that ruled him out of the 2018 CHAN as unfortunate, but is confident of returning to his best and wants to grab more opportunities to officiate at the highest levels.
Udoh suffered an hamstring during the physical training exercise during the CHAN referee’s assessment program in Egypt last year.
He has been Nigeria’s brightest hope of officiating at major competitions, but the setback he insists will only propel him to want more.
The FIFA badge match will be back in action at the weekend on CAF Confederation Cup duty and he has told Brila.net that he wants to return to reckoning, strongly.
