Rivers United will attempt to bounce back from last week’s defeat to Lobi Stars when they host Dakkada at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium this Sunday.

Stanley Eguma’s side suffered their second domestic defeat of the campaign on Wednesday, losing 3-2 to Group B leaders Lobi Stars.

Despite the defeat, Rivers United remain currently second on the group B table and will be aiming to reduce six-point gap between them and leaders Lobi Stars.

The hosts will, however, fancy their chances against a Dakkada side who are yet to win on the road this term.

Although the got back to winning ways at home with a 1-0 win over Doma United on Saturday April 8, Dakkada will need something special to pick a point in Port Harcourt.

Nyima Nwagua and Naibe Akpesiri were the goal scorers at Dakkada in the 2-1 win earlier this season.
