Super Falcons and Rivers Angels striker Alice Ogebe has stated that the Port Harcourt based Nigeria women Premier league side will emerge victorious at the end of the Nigeria Women Football League organized Super 6 tournament despite opening their quest for the title with a 1-1 draw on the matchday 1 of the competition in Ijebu Ode.
Ogebe speaking in a chat with brila.net averred that there is no pressure on the team despite the draw and that the team will eventually come good to emerge as champions at the end of the tournament which is also expected to determine Nigeria’s continental representatives for the inaugural edition of the CAF women’s champions league.
“I don’t think that there is pressure here because of the bond between we the players and the quality to win it is there.
“You don’t expect me to say we will come anything behind first which is not possible, we are on top and we will always be there.”
