Ola Aina, Ekong star ‘in action’ for their Serie A clubs on Saturday

Super Eagles duo of Ola Aina and William Troost-Ekong were in action for their respective club Torino and Udinese in Italian Serie A games on Saturday.

Aina was on for all 90 minutes and gave a good account of himself as Torino played a 1-1 draw away at Sassuolo on Saturday.

The Chelsea Football Club of England loanee , has been impressive for Torino starting 11 of the 15 Serie A games he has played.

Ekong on his part was on for 90 minutes for Udinese who played a disappointing 1-1 at home with struggling side Frosinone .

Troost-Ekong has featured in 17th consecutive start in 17 Serie A games for Udinese at the Stadio Friuli.

Meanwhile, Super Eagles Russia 2018 World Cup midfielder Joel Obi saw no action as he watched his team Chievo Verona holding his former side Inter Milan to a 1-1 draw .

Obi has made 10 appearances for for Chievo this season, starting eight of them and scoring once.
