Oladapo allays Olympic qualifiers fears amidst Covid-19 pandemic

Secretary-General of the Nigeria Olympic Committee Olabanji Oladapo has allayed fears about Nigeria’s Olympic qualification hopes in sports that haven’t secured qualification yet stating that the Covid-19 pandemic would have hampered everyone and hence the potential opponents would also have to worry about an almost similar situation that athletes in Nigeria would worry on.

Oladapo speaking in a chat with www.brila.net backed Nigerian athletes to come good when the time comes for the qualifiers for the Olympics which already have most of it qualifiers slated for early next year ready meaning more time for athletes to still try to put themselves in proper shape.
“Our athletes have been locked down, everything is on lockdown so how will they prepare effectively that they will have confidence that well I have tried my best and if my best is not enough that is not to say that I haven’t tried my best. So there is no tension if you have not prepared if you have not done anything.”
