Olanrewaju Kayode has vowed to show appreciation for the trust and support from Super Eagles Technical Adviser, Gernot Rohr and Nigerians by leading the Team to victory when they face South Africa in a 2019 Afcon qualifying match next month.
The 24-year-old FK Austria Wien striker earned a second call up to the Super Eagles; after the friendly against Senegal in March, following Monday’s announcement of 25 players for the Corsica camp.
Rohr named nine attackers for the Corsica camp on 24 May and the player said he’s keen to show his appreciation with a goal and help the Super Eagles secure three points against Bafana Bafana in a 2019 Afcon qualifier.

On his debut for the Super Eagles, Olanrewaju came off the bench against Senegal and though he failed to hit the back of the net, the forward threaded the pass that led to Nigeria‘s equalizer after Kelechi Iheanacho was felled in the box for a penalty.
