Olusesi downplays Pyramid’s scary record

Enugu Rangers vice Captain Tope Olusesi has downplayed the seemingly intimidating record of upcoming CAF Confederation cup group stage match day one opponent Pyramids of Egypt as both teams lock horns at the Nnamdi Azikwe stadium on Sunday.

Olusesi speaking in a chat with brila.net said the Enugu based side though have gone through a lot lately will be unfazed by Pyramid’s unbeaten run in both the league and CAF Confederation cup where they have gone 12 games unbeaten altogether.
He added that the arrival of a new Technical adviser in Salisu Yusuf has given the team fresh boost.
“The thing is not scary it’s football, I think although they’ve been scoring a lot of goals, they are a big side good and technically sound, we will do our best to hold them down and considering they are coming to Nigeria to play against a team that is passing through a lot.
But with the new Technical adviser in the team, it has really boosted the team a lot. So there is no reason to be scared.”
