KRC Genk’s new signing Tolu Arokodare is already feeling the pressure less than 24 hours after joining the club.

The 22 year-old signed for the Limburgers from Valmiera on January transfer deadline day.

Arokodare signed a four-and-a-half year contract and he’s the direct replacement for Paul Onuachu who left for Southampton same day.

Speaking on Genk’s official website, the Forward is also delighted with his new home, admitting he has to work hard to fill the void vacated by Paul Onuachu.

“I am very happy to be in Genk. At this point in my career I can’t imagine a better club,” Arokodare said.

“Together with the team I hope to continue the good results of the first half of the season and to win prizes. Paul leaves big shoes to fill. But I am determined to give 100% for this great club.”

In the French Ligue 2, he scored 8 times in 23 games and provide two assists.
