Super Eagles and Napoli’s masked marksman was once again on target, scoring his 20th and his 21st Serie A goals this season in the 4-0 win away at Torino.

In the process Osimhen equalled Cameroon football icon, Samuel Eto’o Fils’ record of the highest-ever goal tally for an African in a single Serie A season.

The Napoli talisman headed in two goals to stretch his tally to 21 goals in 23 games for the Partenopei.

The Nigerian got the first goal of the game in the 9th minute from Piotr Zielinski’s assist.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia got the second from the penalty spot in the 35th minute to ensure that they take the lead into the break.

Osimhen resumed carnage in the second half, when he got his second of the afternoon by heading home from a Mathías Olivera assist.

Substitute Tanguy Ndombele wrapped up the victory – only three minutes after coming on – off an assist from Kvaratskhelia.

Victor Osimhen was replaced in the 71st minute of the match by Giovanni Simeone, and the Nigerian will immediately prepare to fly back home to join the Super Eagles camp for their Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Guinea-Bissau.
