Victor Osimhen has given kudos to his teammates after scoring the crucial goal that earn Napoli vital win against Torino on Sunday.
The Partenopei recorded their eight wins from eight games league game, thanks to Osimhen’s header.
Shortly before the goal arrived, a nervous Osimhen had brief chat with his teammates on the bench and they advised him to keep his calm.
“In this kind of game you are nervous, because the opponents continue to press us and it was important for me to fight back.Kudos to my teammates, as they gave me the confidence to keepcalm and keep going.” He told the press.
The goal helped Napoli to keep their 100% winning record in the Serie A this season intact, and Osimhen added that’s he’s delighted to give the fans something special.
“The way the goal came, it was so emotional, the fans were waiting for the goal and to get the opportunity to score, I am very happy,above all because it allowed us to get the win.”
Napoli have equalled the best start in their Serie A history: eight wins in the opening eight league games of a season, as in 2017/18 campaign.
