Peseiro offers NPFL Coaches Help, almost zero chance for the Players making Super Eagles now

Super Eagles Coach Jose Peseiro has promised to go round all the football venues next season to scout for players who can’t improve his team.

Peseiro was in Uyo to see the game between Plateau United and Akwa United over the weekend.

It was his second time at an NPFL venue; he was in Ilorin for Kwara United encounter with Sunshine Stars seven days ago.

Speaking to the press, Peseiro thumbs up the quality of football in the League and stated he would be on a regular scouting mission next season.

However, the Portuguese trainer did add that the time was too short to bring players into the Super Eagles at the moment.

“This is my second time watching the NPFL game, first was in Kwara and now in Uyo,” Peseiro said. “So far, I can say the quality of the league is high and the players are committed.”

“The season is almost over but from next season, I will go round all the football venues and watch the players and see how many we can bring into the national team.”

“After the game, I interacted with the coaches, gave my assessment and also asked them on how I can improve my team,” He concluded.
