Former Nigeria international Godwin Okpara has stated that the Super Eagles under new Portuguese coach Jose Pesieiro should be allowed to take shape with international friendlies and as such shouldn’t be a problem to see the team try out new methods during such games notwithstanding the result, especially at this early stage of his reign.
Okpara speaking in a chat with www.brila.net gave his position ahead of the Super Eagles’ second international friendly this time against Ecuador few days after losing to Mexico that the team shouldn’t be judged necessarily on the result of the games but on valuable lessons that come be useful to the team going forward.
