Pillars coach hails Musa’s maturity in debut return to NPFL

Kano Pillars coach Ibrahim Musa has hailed Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa for his display of maturity and influence in Pillars’ 1-0 win over Adamawa united following his goal assist to eventual match winner Rabiu Ali on Sunday.

Musa speaking in a chat with www.brila.net commended Ahmed Musa for also been calm enough especially after his goal was disallowed for offside. He highlighted his influence as big after surviving through the challenge of the opposition team who had more men on the former Leicester city winger on matchday.

“Ahmed Musa showed maturity in that game because he scored first goal but referee disallowed the goal, the linesman said it’s off side so we didn’t complain and continued the game. First half ended goalless and second half Ahmed Musa collected the ball and gave the last pass to Rabiu Ali then we scored the only goal. He showed maturity because he picked out Rabiu Ali, most of the defenders were after Ahmed Musa so he tried.”
