President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday Morning met with the Super Eagles and urged them to play a fair game but bring the World Cup trophy to Nigeria.
He said that the team is very young but encourage them to display the Nigerian spirit and their knowledge to a great advantage over their opponents.
President Buhari made the remark when he played host to the Super Eagles players and officials in the presence of some members of his cabinet that include Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, Information Minister, Lai Mohammed, and Sports Minister, Solomon Dalung.
The Eagles will later today leave for London ahead of Saturday’s Pre-World Cup friendly against the Three Lions at Wembley Stadium.
