PSV Eindhoven youngster Noni Madueke has disclosed that he’s open to playing Nigeria at senior international level in the nearest future.
Madueke was born in Barnet, to parents of Nigeria heritage and has represented England at youth level.
The young striker cut his teeth in football with Tottenham Hotspurs academy at the age 12.
The 18-year-old, has also featured for his country of birth at youth level, playing for the U16, U17 and U18.
The gangling forward remains available for Nigeria, because he has not been capped at the senior level by England.
Speaking on his international future, Madueke said he has not made a decision on where to play, but admitted playing for the Three times African champion is a possibility.
“I am only 18, so, I have got to be open to everything,” he told SunSport. “If I had a closed mindset I would not be where I am now so for sure I am open to both.
“We just have to see in the future what is best.” said Madueke.
Noni Madueke has enjoyed a break through season since moving to the Dutch Eredivisie from Tottenham Hotspurs last summer.
