Quadri advances to R16 at WTT in Durban

Nigeria’s Table Tennis star Aruna Quadri has advanced to the Men’s singles round of 16 at the ongoing World Table Tennis in Durban, South African.

Quadri, held off a strong challenge from Chinese star Sun Wen to secure his passage to the next round on Thursday.

The Nigerian won the round of 32 tie 3-1, and sent the Chinese parking in the process.

The match ended 12-10, 15-13, 13-11, and (11-8) in the favor of the African number one.
