Rivers united forward Godwin Aguda has stated that the Port Harcourt-based Nigeria Professional Football League side will be out to turn things around ahead of today’s rescheduled league fixture against struggling league defending champions Plateau United who is just a spot above the relegation zone.
Aguda told brila.net that it’s been an equally tough run for the team lately after losing back to back fixtures in the league and that the team will be out today with the hope to try to turns things around and try as much as possible to get close to the top of the table where they have been for much of the season.
“No two games are alike so as they come to play Rivers united they will try to put everything that they have because they are going to play a very big side too to make sure that they get out of that position that they are. We believe it will be an opening for us to get the chance to go back to the top which for the past three games now we have not gotten the positive result we really need.”
