Saka shows class in Arsenal’s horrible night in Europe

Bukayo Saka was on parade for Arsenal in their Europa league encounter with Greek side Olympiakos on Thursday.

Saka started in his new adopted left back role and played the entire duration of the game as they went out of the competition on away goal rule.

The youngster was one of the shining light in Arsenal’s horrible night, as he  put in a total of nine dangerous crosses, but the attacker failed to convert them.

Ivorian forward Pape Abou Cisse’s opener cancelled out Arsenal’s away goal advantage and sent the tie into extra time.

Aubameyang’s brilliant late goal from Ozil’s cross put the Mikel Arteta’s men in the driving seat with seven minutes left of extra time, but lack of concentrate from a half-cleared 120th-minute corner allowed  El Arabi to a tap-in the winner for the visitors.

Arsenal have now lost consecutive home games in European competition for the first time since February/September 2015 in the Champions League, also losing the second of those games against Olympiakos.
