German club side Bayern Leverkusen is on the verge of signing Manchester City winger Samuel Edozie.
Leverkusen had a successful discussion with the player’s entourage and they have concluded a deal to take the young winger out of England for the first time in his career.
The 19-year-old is expected to sign a four-year contract at the Bay Arena, once they reach the transfer fee with Manchester City.
Edozie started his career with Championship side Millwall and moved to Manchester City academy in 2019.
He made his first-team appearance last year but has failed to hold down a regular place in the Pep Guardiola’s squad.
Edozie is born in England o Nigerian parents and he represented his country f birth at the U17 and U19 levels.
The junior England international a still eligible to play for Nigeria at the senior level.
