Sanusi loses first game with FC Porto since December

Super Eagles left-back Zaidu Sanusi was on parade for FC Porto to Olympique Lyon, in their Europa League round of 16 first leg tie.

Sanusi featured for 90 minutes at the Dradago and he was on the losing at the Sergio Conceciao’s team suffered a 1-0 defeat at home .

The first half ended without a goal ,but took the game when Lucas Pasqueta scores in the 59th minute .

Sanusi and his teammates failed to find the equaliser before 90 minutes and Lyon left with the advantage .

The second leg is scheduled for next week in France and Porto needs to outscore Lyon to be guaranteed a place in the next round .

It was Porto’s first defeat in all competition since December 2021 .
