On Friday, 23rd March 2018, the Super Eagles of Nigeria will square up against the Polish national team a fellow Russia 2018 World Cup-bound country.

The Super Eagles will play the friendly at Wroclaw in Poland at the Municipal Stadium.

The Municipal Stadium built for the UEFA Euro 2012 Championship is the 3rd biggest stadium in Poland with a capacity of 42, 771 seats and a grass surface.

The Municipal provides identically equipped facilities for both teams with locker rooms, massage rooms, showers, toilets, coach rooms and warm-up areas.

The Stadium is managed by a company called “Wroclaw 2012”, however, it is proper of the city of Wroclaw.

The stadium was opened in 2011 with a boxing match between Vitali Klitschko and Tomasz Adamek. However, the Municipal hosted the first football game the following month.

The Stadium hosted 3 group A matches during the Euro 2012 championships.

The inaugural game the Polish national team played at the Stadium was in November 2011 against Italy. Poland lost the game 0-2.

We wish the Super Eagles a good outing at the Municipal Stadium on Friday.
